In 2016, Jia Jieyang graduated with a Ph.D. from Stanford University and joined Mojo Vision, the first company to bring AR smart glasses to the consumer market. The visions painted by Mojo Vision and the idea of turning people into superheroes were what Jia Jieyang aspired to work towards.
As one of the initial employees, Jia Jieyang participated in the development of Mojo Vision's first prototype of smart AR glasses. This experience at Mojo Vision inspired Jia Jieyang to develop near-eye display optical systems and bring them to traditional eyewear companies in China.
